SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Automated Wheel has implemented a “real time” data collection system for attribute and variable data.  Data collection satellites are positioned at key production areas for data input and output.

Process variation alerts are immediately sent via e-mail to applicable supervisors and managers when a monitored dimension is outside established parameters.  This immediacy enables us to quickly take appropriate action: reducing waste, inspection time and shipped defects. Automated Wheel can produce detailed reports of data collected to monitor and measure key product areas and materials produced.

CMM Inspection

Automated Wheel's coordinate measuring machine provides high precision measurements of our manufactured wheels - giving us production control, prototype development and reverse engineering along with quality documentation.  In conjunction with our SPC (statistical process control) collection software, the CMM machine's function is to provide dimensional verification and process control.

Solvent Resistance

Passes one hour exposure to gasoline, most wheel cleaners and tire sealants with no change

Thermal Shock

Passes with minimum 99% adhesion
